I may use the art I've made in my portfolio or for self-promotional purposes.

I may refuse service for any reason.

I reserve the right to take up to two months with any given piece before the client may request a refund.

I may refuse a refund once work has started.

I may refuse or charge extra for revisions if they include aspects that had already been approved by the client.

The client may use the art as a profile picture, banner, background, page doll or other graphic, character reference or any other similar, personal use.

The art may not be edited with or uploaded to be used by DALL-E, image2image, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion or any similar machine learning based tool unethically trained on copyrighted content.

The art may not be altered from the original vision. Small edits like adjusting colors or adding a mole are OK, but if you want to go past that, discuss revisions with yours truly!

Cropping and applying filters to the image is acceptable. (See "Credit" in case any edits cover the watermark.)

The client may not use the art for commercial purposes. (With exceptions; see "Commercial Use")

The client may not re-post the art without credit, claim or imply it as their own creation.

The client may not use the art to spread or encourage any kind of hateful or vile behavior, such as but not limited to racism, pedophilia, homo-/transphobia, antisemitism, sexism or ableism.

If the art is used on pages open to the public, it must be credited. Please place the nickname "Rwko" or "rwko_" in a visible spot.

Placing the nickname separately is not necessary if the watermark/signature is visible, but appreciated.

Any re-posts on social media should have a link to either this page or my Instagram. (instagram.com/rwko_)

Direct commercial use (e.g. selling the art as prints, minting it as a NFT, reselling it as an asset...) is not allowed by default. Please discuss this with me before payment if it's something you desire!

The art may be used in a project that's going to make money as long as it is not used as a promotional image or for merchandise, but is part of a larger collective: e.g. a texture in a video game, a decoration on a donation page, a graphic in a monetized video or collage...

My art may never be used to promote or be part of schemes utilizing blockchain technology.

Buying premade art of a design grants you all the same rights for the art as a commission, and more for the design itself.

You may use the design for anything, including promotional content and merchandise.

In practice, this distinction means you must make transformative use of the art in order to profit off of it; expand on the design, commission or create work based off of it.

If you're buying a design with the intention

Q: How do I pay? A: You let me know the e-mail attached to your PayPal account and I send you an invoice. Once it's been paid, I start the work.

Q: Should I tip? A: I include an option to tip in the invoice, but it isn't expected. If you want to tip based on the outcome of the work, you can do so afterwards on my Ko-fi.

Q: What kind of references do you need? A: If you're commissioning something with no art but don't want to pay extra for me to make the design from scratch, please make a collection of your notes for the design in one easy-to-view location such as a Google doc, a concise e-mail or a Discord message. A written description and some images scraped off the internet are usually enough. Video game avatars and similar are also good references.

Q: Can I get the art done before (insert date)? A: I can bump you up the priority list if necessary to achieve the deadline, yes! Let me know ahead of time. A particularly short notice will cost more; for example, three days to make a fullbody painting is possible, but will at least double the base price.

Q: Can I use this art in my game? A: WITH PERMISSION; it may cost extra to gain this right. Let me know ahead of time so we can work out the kinks regarding licensing and appropriate credit.

Q: Can you draw (insert thing)? A: I can depict characters of any age, ethnicity or body type; gore, monsters, death and violence; artistic nudity, mildly suggestive content, romance, group pictures; robots, technology, mechs; complicated scenery, architecture, maps, layouts, props; anthropomorphic creatures, furries, aliens, animals; I can try my hand at abstract art, surrealism, expressionism; I can make page decorations and do light graphic design; medical, botanic etc. illustrations and diagrams; comic strips and pages; pixel art. If it's anything else, ask, but don't expect much.
